K.C. Health and Gifts
K.C. Health and Gifts is a conveniently located health food and gift store on the Main Street of Lillooet. “We carry natural vitamins, mostly organic health foods with a preference for locally grown products,” explained Karen. They carry local vegetables in season and their farm fresh eggs are a customer favourite. They have a wide variety of gifts such as clothing, native crafts, local jade jewellery, carvings and lots of different stones. K.C. Health and Gifts even has an antique and collectible corner where you can browse for that special one of a kind treasure. The owners and staff of K.C. Health and Gifts are helpful and able to give great advice based on thirty-five successful years in the health food business. Co-owner Carol is also a reflexologist and therapist and appointments are available with treatments taking place on the site.

Meet George, Karen & Carol Vanderwolf
The Vanderwolf's live in Lillooet and love it. The community is bustling with annual events and seasonal celebrations that keep the citizens and visitors active. Husband and wife George and Karen, and their daughter Carol, are active in the community. Karen, Carol and their staff participate in the banner project, the Lillooet Farmer's Market, Lillooet Apricot Tsaqwem Festival, the Jade Monument Project the Canadian Royal Purple and the May Day Parade. They also support the Miyazaki Heritage House, the United Church and the Senior's Society.
The Vanderwolf's have deep family roots in Lillooet. "Part of our family has lived here for over 100 years and we feel blessed to have been a part of it," said Karen. When visitors come to town the Vanderwolf's recommend the Jade Walk, where the first jade mine was founded in the 1960's by George and Karen's father near Lillooet. The route is both historic and scenic.
In 1980, the Vanderwolf's started their business, K.C. Health and Gifts and are proud of their longevity in the community. George, Karen and Carol Vanderwolf love doing business in Lillooet because the people are so friendly and the have been able to get to know their customers on a personal basis. Karen admits that being in business that is twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week job, so they love to travel when they can and go to trade shows and bring back new ideas to implement in our shop.
